About Us and the Retreat...

This retreat is designed to be a safe haven for those of us mothers that have suffered the loss of a child. Sadly if you are reading this you may understand the importance of having someone that can empathize and share with you on the same level of loss that we have experienced. After suffering through the loss of our son, I very quickly realized how important support was for me from people that truly understood my grief. Having created my own group of amazing angel moms, and participating in other bereaved mothers' retreats, I knew I needed to share my experience with others. Together with other angel mothers' we have created these sacred retreats.

We have created the weekend retreat for bereaved mothers to be nurtured and also show/teach them the benefits and value of self care. It is so important to allow yourself to be supported by others in a peaceful, safe, and comforting environment. Sharing your grief with others that truly understand you is a huge part of self care in this journey that we are all now on.

Comforting Weekend Activities

* To sponsor a Mother to be able to attend one of our Bereaved Mother Retreats you may donate randomly a portion or the full amount of the $600.00 cost per Mother, or you may donate and email us to whom the donation shall go to for the retreat so that we can reserve their spot.
* With your donations we have some scholarship opportunities for those that cannot afford the full cost of the retreat, please reach out with any questions and/or to apply.

Dear Cristie and Leigh Anne,

Let me first thank you and your amazing husbands for the service and love that you provide to so many broken hearts. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your love and compassion.

The weekend retreat was exactly what I had been seeking. Being among all of the other grieving mothers made me feel understood and normal. There were many times when I felt like I was losing my mind and after listening to everyone else, I have come to terms with the fact that this type of grief is overwhelming and yes, normal (if we focus on our well-being in the process). Thank you for providing the space, outlet and encouragement for us to forge forward in meaningful and positive ways.

I admire your strength and dedication to want to help so many others while you yourselves are still grieving your losses. I am sure that Taylor and Andrew are smiling in heaven with immense pride and joy! You are amazing!

Attending the Bereaved Mother’s retreat was exactly what I needed. I didn’t understand how desperate I was for the company of other women who get the depth of grief I was feeling. Who would listen and cry with me. I loved being able to share and listen to their stories. Learning how to meditate and take time to be still was a valuable lesson I now use on a daily basis. The weekend was full of self care and delicious food. I left feeling refreshed and equipped with new friends and ideas to help carry my heart through the unimaginable.
